Polar bears can be found in colder areas of the Terrazone. Originally seeded to promote biodiversity in the Icarus food chain. Due to their increased aggression and predatory instincts they quickly wiped out the seal population.

Valued by prospectors for their meat but especially for their fur which can be used to craft armor to protect against the harsh climates of Icarus. Generally avoided by novice prospectors.
