Information We Collect

Icarus Database is operated by Lucent Enterprises Ltd. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and Google AdSense to display advertising. We do not require user accounts or knowingly collect personal information directly through the site. This policy explains what limited data is processed through analytics, advertising, and the optional newsletter.

Icarus Database does not collect:

Names, email addresses (except via optional newsletter), or contact information
Payment or financial information
Precise location data

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Icarus Database:

Google Analytics — usage analytics such as pages visited, session duration, device type, and general geographic region
Google AdSense — advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, personalization

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads where permitted. Depending on your location and consent choices, ads may instead be non-personalized.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to measure site usage, deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize content or advertising where permitted. Our hosting provider may also set essential cookies required for basic site functionality.

Data Retention

We do not store user accounts, application profiles, or a separate advertising-profile data store. Analytics, advertising, and infrastructure providers retain data according to their own settings and retention policies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

If you request site updates, we store your email address and consent state in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies the form submission, and Cloudflare Email Service sends confirmation and update messages. Your subscription is not activated until you confirm it by email. You can unsubscribe using the link in any update. We do not sell or share newsletter addresses for third-party marketing.

Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and, where applicable, to object to or opt out of certain processing or advertising uses. Most analytics and advertising controls are handled through Google's services. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Where required, the site displays a privacy message that lets you consent, refuse consent, or manage advertising choices. You can also review Google's advertising controls at My Ad Center. For any other requests, email contact@gdbn.live.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@gdbn.live and we will remove it.
